Racial justice
We believe that everyone is equal, regardless of the colour of their skin or cultural background. We are proud to have a hugely diverse congregation, and we ensure that people of all nationalities have the opportunities to develop their God-given gifts to serve in the church.
We seek to remove any barriers where racism is seen, and we believe that racism in any form is abhorrent. We are supporters of Amnesty International, and we have a strong relationship with other local faith communities. We will not tolerate abuse of any kind towards those because of the colour of their skin. And we encourage our members to actively call out and challenge racism wherever they see it, whether in the workplace, on the street or online.
