Rev. Dr. Kai Nilsen said, 'The season of Lent presents an opportunity to reflect on the state of our souls before God, the contour of our lives with others, and above all, the prevailing promise of Jesus' resurrected life as it breathes new life, new courage, new hope in us and through us, for the sake of the world.'

The church in Galatia had a number of challenges it faced, and as it sought to understand its clear calling from God, it had to explore how best to understand the miracle of the Gospel and to be part of an ever-growing, ever-developing group of people seeking Jesus.
In this Lent season, we pray that we will be able to wrestle with what Paul had to say to the Galatian churches, whilst at the same time seeking that peace, hope and resurrection life that is available to us through Jesus.

Join us in this season of renewal as we follow Jesus through the book of Galatians.

Sun 9 March: Galatians 1 - The Gospel truth
Sun 16 March: Galatians 2 - Justification through Jesus
Sun 23 March: Galatians 3 - Richer together
Sun 30 March: Galatians 4 - Children of promise
Sun 6 April: Galatians 5 - Life by the Spirit
Sun 13 April: Galatians 6 - A new creation.

We will then meet together during Holy Week each evening. Details will follow here of these services in due course.

Lent is also an opportunity for us to gather with our sister churches in Heaton, and each Tuesday we will also be sharing a time of fellowship over lunch. Details and venues are below.
